I am often asked whether I can make ornaments and other items other than memorial jewellery for holding cremated ashes or a lock of hair from a loved one or pet. So, I thought I would put assorted options here so that I am able to refer people to them when they contact me. I will also be adding to this page as and when new products are released.

Memorial paperweights for ashes or hair

I currently make two types of resin paperweight suitable for displaying a loved ones’ ashes or lock of hair. I can also incorporate other objects into the paperweight design such as small flowers and personalised text.

Firstly, a domed paperweight measuring approximately 1.25 inches high and 3 inches in diameter and having a flat base.

Secondly, a square paperweight measuring approximately 3 inches x 3 inches and 1 inch high. The square paperweight can either be displayed on the flat base or displayed upright. The square paperweight would also be suitable for displaying a small photograph along with the ashes or lock of hair.

Memorial tealight candle holders for ashes or hair

I currently make two styles of memorial tealight candle holders, suitable for displaying both cremated ashes and a lock of hair; a heart shaped resin tealight candle holder measuring approximately 4 inches in diameter.

A flower shaped resin tealight candle holder measuring approximately 3 inches in diameter. In addition to the ashes and/or lock of a hair, other items can be added to the holders including small flowers and personalised text.

Memorial trinket dish for ashes or hair

The central glass holder to the tealight candle holder is removable allowing either of the above resin tealight holder designs to be used as a trinket dish if required. The following photo is of the heart shaped tealight holder, supplied as a trinket dish and displayed within the supplied display box.

Memorial pebble for ashes or hair

Any of my resin memorial pendants can be supplied without necklace chains (i.e. they can be simply mounted within the jewellery box attached to ribbon). I have had several customers who have simply hung the memorial pendant containing ashes or a lock of hair from ribbon as a decoration and even attached to a teddy bear.

The memorial pendants can also be supplied without any of the jewellery findings fitted (i.e. without the silver loop to the top of the pendant). Any of the resin pendant shapes (heart, teardrop, oval and star) have a flat backing so they can be displayed flat as a memorial pebble containing either ashes or a lock of a loved ones’ hair.

Memorial Xmas decorations containing ashes or hair

As mentioned previously, any of my resin pendants containing a lock of a loved ones’ hair or ashes  can be hung from ribbon and therefore used as hanging Xmas decorations.

Alternatively, I can set the hair or ashes within a resin snowflake. Just a beautiful way of having a loved one close at Christmas time.
