The MS Society (Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain) have contacted me several times over the last few years to make custom branded paperweights for them. These are to be given as gifts to valued colleagues and supporters of the charity.
The MS Society is the UK’s largest charity for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis, a condition that effects a person’s central nervous system. The charity provides support and helps fund research into the condition.
The first custom paperweight that I was asked to make for the MS Society charity is this one:

On this occasion the MS Society were looking to have a custom paperweight made as a retirement gift for the Chair of their Board of Trustees. They wanted a custom-made resin domed paperweight encasing a small badge – the very last ‘Shining Star’ being awarded by the MS Society. It’s a standard pin badge, around 4cm across, with a metal back and laminated card front. The MS Society shining star awards have now been replaced by the impact awards (see below).
The second bespoke paperweight that I was asked to make for the MS Society charity is this resin domed paperweight containing a gold MS Society impact award badge. The impact awards are given by the MS Society to their volunteers, recognising their contribution, commitment and achievements.
